DESCRIÇÃO DO PROJETO
Tratando-se de um terreno privado que abriga uma praça de uso público para desfrute e convívio de qualquer cidadão, a ideia principal da Pracinha Oscar Freire era criar uma praça temporária para ativar o espaço enquanto ele não dá lugar a um empreendimento futuro. Com programação variada, a pracinha recebe food trucks, shows, oficinas, etc e também disponibiliza rede wifi gratuita para os usuários.

O projeto da pracinha conta com um deck de madeira ao longo da rampa que dá acesso ao estacionamento no fundo da praça, adaptando o desnível existente entre a Rua Oscar Freire e o fundo do lote através de patamares e formando degraus, que também acabam sendo utilizados como bancos. A pintura no piso sugere uma faixa de pedestre, sugerindo aos veículos o cuidado ao compartilhar o local com os pedestres.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
On private land that houses a plaza of public use for the enjoyment and conviviality of any citizen, the main idea of ‘Pracinha Oscar Freire’ was to create a temporary square to activate the space while it is not being used for another construction. With varied programming, the square now hosts food trucks, shows, workshops, and also offers free Wi-Fi network for visitors.

The project includes a wooden deck along the ramp that gives access to the car park at the bottom of the square, adapting the existing gap between the Oscar Freire Street and the bottom of the lot through steps and forming steps, which also end up being used like banks. The square also houses a bike rack, to encourage the use of this mode of transport in the city and a wall slab making the user a participant of the square, complemented by a green wall, which brings life and coziness to the place. The painting on the floor implies a pedestrian strip, suggesting to the vehicles the care when sharing the place with the pedestrians.
